HEAT PUMPS

Air source heat pumps collect energy from the air, even when it’s cold outside, whereas, ground source heat pumps extract it from the ground. As a renewable heat source, both air and ground source heat pumps produce very little carbon emissions in comparison to a boiler, and can also be cheaper to run than traditional heating systems.

VENTED & UN-VENTED

HOT WATER CYLINDERS

An alternative to the combi system of heating is the use of either a vented or un-vented cylinder. Both supply  hot water and heating on demand but achieved using differing approaches. The traditional vented cylinder stores hot water fed directly from the loft tank using an electric element to heat the water, Whereas the un-vented cylinder are either gas heated and provide mains pressure throughout the system.

Carbon Green has vast experience in the selection of the right heating for your house and you. We will help you weight up the benefits for both systems
