WHAT IS AN AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMP ?

Air source heat pumps absorb heat from the air around us outside to heat your home. Heat can still be absorbed even in temperatures as low as -15°C.

Whilst air source heat pumps run on electricity, the heat output is greater than the electricity input as they are extracting renewable heat from the environment, will save you money in the long run.

Because the air is collected externally, there is also no need to dig, drill or have a large plot of land. However, if you have a large garden or plot of land, a ground source heat pump could be a better alternative.
